Darshan Mission

Darshan’s mission is to open the world to a deeper understanding of autism, thereby inviting us all more deeply into our hearts and embracing the beauty of human diversity.

At the heart of Darshan lies the fundamental recognition that the outward manifestations or symptoms of autism are rooted in a profound sensitivity and openness of heart. By attuning ourselves to this sensitivity, we discover the vastness of our own hearts and the unity underlying all diversity. Autism, seen through this lens, becomes a gateway to deeper self-awareness and connection.

Through conferences, community involvement and speaking engagements, the Darshan Education and Outreach Program is catalyzing a global paradigm shift in how we perceive and interact with autistic individuals while uniting us all in our shared humanity. Darshan intends to establish a Community & Retreat Center that will provide long-term housing and support for adults on the spectrum as well as day programs, workshops and retreats for guests from diverse backgrounds, including autistic and neurotypical individuals.

Darshan invites everyone to recognize and inhabit the love that resides within each of us.
